DITV: New year, new school, new home: Freshmen are all moved in on campus

Fresh new faces are on campus, and they are ready for the new academic year.

Last week, freshmen moved in on campus, and the On Iowa volunteers were there to help them with anything and everything they needed. For many of the first-year students on campus, this is their first chance of really living on their own away from their parents. Speaking with the students, we can see they are both excited and nervous about this huge life change. Some parents are also going through the process for the first time sending their children off to college, while others have been through this numerous times. Overall, move-in week was a success with nearly 6,000 students filling up the dorms.
