Iowa City police are looking for a suspect in an early morning attack near downtown.

A person told officers she was grabbed and forced to the ground in the 700 block of East Washington Street around 1:09 a.m. on Aug. 15, according to a press release. She was able to break free.

The release described the suspect as a 19- to 25-year-old white man with blond or silver hair and weighing around 150 pounds. He was wearing a V-neck American Eagle shirt and khaki shorts, the release said. Anyone with information is encouraged to call police at 319-356-5276.
