Early on the morning of June 1, officers from the Iowa City police and the University of Iowa police responded to a report of an armed robbery near 301 N. Clinton St., according to a press release.

The victim of the robbery said two white males took her purse after one displayed a handgun. Minutes later, officers arrived at the scene, and they were able to track the stolen purse, because the victim’s phone was in the purse.

The officers found the two suspects at 1100 Arthur St. One suspect was a 16-year-old. The 18-year-old suspect is identified as Andrew Kyle Dangler of Burlington.
