Daily Iowan: What is your favorite musician or band?

Boone Myers: I really like country music. Aaron Lewis those types of people.

DI: What is your go-to dance move, if you have one?

Myers: Oh jeez. Anything where I don’t get hurt. Which is very limited.

DI: Favorite basketball team?

Myers: I don’t really follow basketball but I love to play it. I don’t really have an NBA team per se.

DI: What is the best part about being an offensive lineman?

Myers: The comradery with your teammates. Spending every waking moment with these guys and then being able to go out on Saturdays and getting a victory with them.

DI: Favorite food one of your parents makes?

Myers: My dad’s stroganoff, hands down.

DI: If Boone Myers didn’t play football as much, he would be doing?

Myers: Probably hunting and fishing. A lot more hunting during the fall.

DI: Favorite location spot?

Myers: I’d have to say Florida. My grandparents live down there and we visit them when we can. Just love to be on the boat relaxing or on the boat deep-sea fishing. It’s just really relaxing to be out there.

DI: Favorite moment as a football player?

Myers: Oh man there is a lot of them. I would probably have to say the Michigan game, being in the locker room with those guys after the win, one of the greatest moments of my life in football.

DI: Video game of choice?

Myers: I’m a Call of Duty guy and the Division is really fun. I like the old Call of Dutys like Modern Warfare and Black Ops.

DI: Scouts ask you what your best attribute is as a player, what do you say?
