Softball releases fall schedule

Hawkeye softball announced its fall slate of games, featuring seven games with teams from around the state and neighboring areas

Iowa released its fall softball schedule Wednesday, kicking off the season with Des Monies Area Community College on Sept. 15 at 5 p.m.

All games on the Hawkeyes’ schedule will be at Pearl Field in Iowa City.

With exception of the Northern Illinois contests, each game will be nine innings. The double header against Northern Illinois will feature two seven-inning games.
