The Iowa City police are seeking help from the public to find a man who allegedly harassed three young girls.

On Tuesday at 4:55 p.m., three girls, ages 9, 10, and 11, told police they were walking near Washington Park Road in Iowa City when a man drove by slowly, according to a press release from the city of Iowa City. The girls told police that the man asked them if they wanted him to expose himself and that he acted sexually suggestive, the release said.

The girls ran from the area before the man could make further contact, the release said.

The man is described as white, between age 30 and 40, with short brown hair and a beard. He was wearing a blue shirt, the release said, and he drove a red, four-door Toyota sedan with tan leather seats and an Iowa license plate.

The Iowa City Area CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
