If Iowa students want to request tickets for a possible men’s NIT home game, they better do it quick.

Requests for NIT student tickets are due March 10 by 4 p.m. The cost of the ticket is 5 dollars.

After a brutal loss to Indiana on March 9 in the Big Ten Tournament, the hopes of Iowa making the NCAA Tournament are all but gone. However, in anticipation of Iowa possibly hosting the first round of the NIT, the athletic department has started accepting requests for the NIT.

Round 1 of the NIT is scheduled for March 14 and 15. If Iowa is selected, it could play either of those days.
