University of Iowa Dance Club members are in their final rehearsals before showcasing their talent on stage.
The benefits show has many different types of dance genres for the audience to enjoy.
Those dances include hip-hop, lyrical, jazz, and tap.
Dancers pick the genre they want to preform at the start of the spring semester.
“We’ve been rehearsing since about January,” UI junior Emilie Camp said. “That’s when we recruited everyone and everyone chose the piece that they’d like to be in for the show.”
The 6th annual benefits show will take place at the Iowa Memorial Union on April 24.
All proceeds go to drug education and administration youth dance program, an organization that provides dance classes to inner city youths.
