Local man charged with burglary
Iowa City police have accused a Coralville man with breaking into a storage unit.
Michael Vogel, 22, was charged with third-degree burglary.
On Jan. 9, Vogel was reportedly caught on camera with a female suspect cutting the lock on a storage unit before stealing property from it.
The two allegedly placed the stolen property in a waiting vehicle nearby in a parking lot. Vogel and the female suspect then left.
Vogel was later identified by a family member.
Third-degree burglary is a Class D felony.
