Iowa City man accused of stealing iPhone

Authorities have accused an Iowa City man of stealing an iPhone.

Jamaal Brooks, 18, was charged with first-degree theft on Jan. 19.

According to online court documents, Brooks and three other people were identified as being a part of a group that allegedly stole a person’s iPhone 5C.

Brooks reportedly admitted to being part of the group, and he also said the theft was planned.

The value of the phone is $600.

First-degree theft is a Class-C felony.
